Dylan Mulvaney's Subtle Support for Kaitlan Collins After Trump's Remark

Dylan Mulvaney's Subtle Support for Kaitlan Collins After Trump's Remark

Trans actress Dylan Mulvaney is seemingly lending her support to CNN reporter and anchor Kaitlan Collins after President Donald Trump compared the two women during the rescheduled White House Correspondents’ Dinner. On Saturday, July 25, Mulvaney, 29, shared an inspirational quote attributed to former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt via her Instagram Stories — the same quote Collins, 34, shared via Instagram in a recap of the annual fundraiser meant to celebrate the First Amendment — in an apparent nod to the reporter. “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent,” the quote read. The actress added three white heart emojis in the since-vanished post, per People. Collins, a frequent target of the president’s ire, received an award for her coverage of the notoriously contentious Oval Office meeting with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday, July 24, during the dinner, which was moved to the Waldorf Astoria in Washington, D.C., after the April security breach and shooting at the originally scheduled event. After Collins received her award, Trump, 80, took aim at the reporter — first degrading her reporting before making disparaging comments about her looks and comparing her to Mulvaney. “It’s a fake — she shouldn’t get the award, it was a fake,” Trump said at the time. “But I don’t mind, I said, ‘Kaitlan, congratulations.’ But it was fake, there’s no question about it. She’s a young, attractive woman. She never smiles. I said, ‘Kaitlan, do you ever smile? Smile. You have a nice position, you’re at CNN fake news, you should be a happy person. So smile, Kaitlan, just smile.” He continued, “I thought Kaitlan had really made it big with a major new sponsorship, but then I informed that it wasn’t her on the Bud Light can, it was Dylan Mulvaney.” Us reached out to the White House at the time for comment. In the wake of the president’s latest attack on Collins, CNN issued a statement standing by the network anchor and her reporting. “Kaitlan Collins is an exceptional, trusted journalist being honored tonight for her depth of knowledge and the context she provides to audiences all over the world,” a CNN spokesperson said in a written statement shared with Us. “She reports every day from the White House and the field with real strength and tenacity and skillfully brings that reporting to the anchor chair and CNN platforms every day. We stand by her to the fullest extent.”

Man Finds $7.5 Million in Storage Unit, But There's a Catch

Man Finds $7.5 Million in Storage Unit, But There's a Catch

A man who spent just $500 on an abandoned storage unit was left stunned after discovering a safe containing an eye-watering amount of cash. While the person who bought what they thought was an empty storage unit became a millionaire overnight, someone else must be in serious trouble for not safeguarding the stash. The astonishing story was shared by Dan Dotson, an auctioneer who is known for his appearances on the popular TV show Storage Wars , which follows people who bid on storage units whose owners have failed to keep up with their payments, often leaving buyers with no idea what they will find inside. According to Dotson, the remarkable discovery was made after a family friend purchased one of the units he had previously auctioned. Instead of finding a load of old broken furniture or a rotting record collection, the new owner discovered a safe inside the unit. When they managed to open it, they discovered a life-changing amount of money , $7.5 million in cash. The owners were not millionaires for long However, it was not a case of simple cashing in, as the unit's new owner was contacted by a lawyer representing the original owners of the safe and its contents. A brutal bargaining war began shortly after, and at first the attorney made an offer of $600,000 in exchange for the return of the money. Still, according to Dotson, that offer was later increased to $1.2 million. Despite having discovered the mammoth fortune , the buyer ultimately agreed to return the cash to its original owners. The decision meant that the buyer did not walk away with the full $7.5 million. However, according to Dotson, accepting the deal may have been the safest option, given the uncertainty surrounding why someone had stashed away millions of dollars in cash in a storage unit. Dan Dotson presents Storage Wars with his wife, Laura. Credit: Instagram / Dan Dotson Anyone can try their luck and buy an abandoned storage unit Storage facilities can auction off units when customers fail to make payments for an extended period. The items left behind can range from ordinary household possessions and unwanted furniture to valuable antiques and, in extremely rare cases, items of extraordinary value. For buyers, the appeal lies in the possibility of finding something valuable hidden among the belongings. In this bizarre case, a $500 purchase led to the discovery of an astonishing $7.5 million in cash. But rather than keeping the unexpected fortune, the new owner ultimately agreed to return it after peaceful negotiations with the original owners. The extraordinary case remains one of the most bizarre discoveries found in an auctioned storage unit, proving that one man's trash really can be another man’s treasure. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's $2M Donation Leaves Families in Tears

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's $2M Donation Leaves Families in Tears

New York City fallen first responders’ families were beyond touched to receive contributions from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s multimillion dollar charity donation. To celebrate their July 3 nuptials, Swift and Kelce, both 36, donated $26 million to an array of worthy causes close to their hearts in various American cities that hold special meaning for the couple. One of the recipients was Answer the Call, a NYC-based nonprofit that helps provide financial assistance and support to families of NYPD, FDNY, PAPD and EMS personnel killed in the line of duty. “We are extremely grateful to Taylor and Travis for their incredible support of Answer the Call,” executive director Lauren Profeta wrote in a statement shared via Instagram at the time. “Their extraordinary donation will ensure that we can continue to provide much-needed financial assistance to the families of New York City’s fallen first responders. We thank them for their kindness, their generosity and for their fulfillment to our collective promise to Never Forget." In the weeks after Swift and Kelce said “I do” in a star-studded wedding inside NYC’s famed Madison Square Garden, After the Call shared a handful of heartfelt letters addressed to the newlyweds from families who have been positively impacted by their charitable donation. “I know firsthand how much the support of this organization means to families like mine,” Patricia Polimeni, whose detective husband Jack Polimeni died in 2020, wrote in a statement. “Your donation is so much more than a financial gift. It provides hope, comfort and sense of community for families who are learning to navigate life after the loss of someone who dedicated their life to serving others.” Amanda Rivera, who lost her dad William Rivera in 2004, noted in a separate letter that Answer the Call helped her family “find [their] way” after his death. “We found a community where people knew what the other has been through and made friends who eventually became family,” she wrote. “The organization has given me so many opportunities and experiences that I never thought I would experience — like throwing out the first pitch at a New York Mets game, attending concerts and much more.” Amanda, who calls herself a “dedicated Swiftie,” further stressed that Swift and Kelce’s support “means the world to” her. Allison Garger, whose husband Thomas J. Kennedy was killed in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in NYC, noted in a separate letter that her family once attended the pop star’s concert at MetLife Stadium. “Taylor, in the rainy concert at MetLife Stadium one year, you touched my son Michael’s hand,” Garger recalled without detailing when the Grammy winner performed in New Jersey. “He has been inspired by you since then. We are forever grateful! Heart-shaped hands forever!” Valerie Perry, for her part, noted that Answer the Call “changed [her] life” following her husband William J. Perry’s death in 1980. “They have brought smiles because I feel like my Bill is always remembered, even after all these years,” Valerie said in a statement of her own. “Now, to read your donation? I AM IN TEARS for such a gift to all these families that have been through so much. Prayers for your future together and God bless both of you for your generosity and your caring souls for doing something so amazing.”

Carrie Ann Inaba and Artem Chigvintsev's Unexpected Reunion Sparks Buzz

Carrie Ann Inaba and Artem Chigvintsev's Unexpected Reunion Sparks Buzz

Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba proved there’s no bad blood with ex Artem Chigvinstev. “A little of life lately...✨,” Inaba, 58, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, July 25, sharing a handful of recent photos. In one snap, Inaba was all smiles beside Chigvintsev, 44, as they twinned in black formalwear. Inaba and Chigvintsev traded their glam ensembles for casual looks as they posed with an unidentified pal after the world premiere of Tango Elite: The Show. Inaba and the Russian dancer dated for nearly three years before going their separate ways in 2009. Chigvintsev joined DWTS as a pro dancer eight years later, prompting Inaba to reiterate that even as his ex she never offered him special treatment or unjust criticism. “I think it’s hysterical. You know what I love though? This is what I love about the Bachelor fans and Bachelorette fans. They can create a story around it!” Inaba told Us and other reporters in November 2020 after facing backlash for her seemingly harsh critique for Chigvintsev and then-partner Kaitlyn Bristowe’s jive. “It’s weird because I totally understood what they were doing. They’re like, ‘There’s jealousy there and there’s this and that’ because that’s what the Bachelor and Bachelorette is all about, right? It’s about creating stories about everybody.” Inaba further denied having any beef with Chigvintsev, who was married to now-ex Nikki Garcia at the time. “Look, I love Artem, [and] I respect him,” she stated. “There’s nothing but love and I thought it was hysterical, so none of it bothers me. I know that people are passionate about Dancing With the Stars. They’re passionate about who they’re voting for. I love that. I will not stand for bullying of me or anyone.” That same month, Chigvintsev also shut down speculation that Inaba had a “personal agenda” to tear him down. “Oh my goodness! It was so long ago. It was, like, 2008, we’re in 2020. That’s 12 years ago!”  Chigvintsev told Us in a separate interview, referring to his past with Inaba. “I don’t think my previous relationship has anything to do with it, I’ll be honest with you, because she’s been judging me for the past however many seasons I was on the show. … I don’t think it has anything to do with it. I think she just really was harsh in the sense that she saw so much more potential than what we’ve been delivering the past two weeks and she finally got things that she’s been wanting to see.” Chigvintsev and Bristowe, 41, ultimately won their season. He left the show for good ahead of 2024’s season 33.

John Cusack's Bold Move: Why He's Leaving Hollywood Behind

John Cusack's Bold Move: Why He's Leaving Hollywood Behind

John Cusack opened up about why he’s largely taken a step back from Hollywood. The “Being John Malkovich” star, 60, said he wanted to tell stories without studio executives weighing in, prompting him to write his upcoming graphic novel “Momo.”“I always thought [graphic novels] were the closest things to film, really,” he told Variety at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday. “You’re picking out shots, they’re so cinematic.”John Cusack speaking to Variety Studio at San Diego Comic-Con in California on July 24, 2026. Variety via Getty ImagesCusack explained he turned to writing because he “didn’t [want to] negotiate telling a story.”“When you ask somebody to put $20 million or $30 million into a bank account [for a film], they want to have an opinion and they’re afraid and all that stuff,” he said.Instead, he teamed up with illustrator Ignacio Noé to create “Momo” on their own terms.“This was just like, I wrote it, and I said, ‘I like the story,’ and then I got this beautiful, wonderful artist, Ignacio Noé, to do the illustrations and so nobody edited anything I wrote or that he drew,” Cusack said.“So it’s really a piece of work that was just done by two people. It was just me and Ignacio’s story, and that doesn’t happen today.”Cusack, 60, revealed he’s stepped back from Hollywood to avoid studio meddling and tell stories his way. Variety via Getty Images“There’s no bull, and there’s no committee. There’s no computer up in Seattle that’s poll testing it,” he added.“Momo” — Cusack’s first graphic novel — is set to be released on Sept. 29.The story follows two fugitives in 1972 who set out to recover an ancient artifact for TV icon Jackie Gleason. The actor spent decades as one of Hollywood’s most recognizable leading men, starring in “Grosse Pointe Blank,” “High Fidelity” and “Con Air,” but his acting career has become increasingly selective in recent years.Cusack as Martin Blank in the 1997 film “Grosse Pointe Blank.”He appeared in the 2025 films “Fog of War” and the Mandarin-language film “Detective Chinatown 1900” after starring in the Chinese espionage thriller “Decoded” in 2024.Before that, his only screen credits since 2020 were the action thriller “Pursuit” and Amazon’s dystopian series “Utopia.”Cusack has been outspoken about the state of Hollywood for years.Cusack as Rob Gordon in “High Fidelity” (2000).“My friend Joe Roth ran Disney [until 2000],” he told the Guardian in 2014. “He made things like ‘The Rock’ and ‘Con Air’ to make shareholders happy, but then he also gave six or seven slots to people he liked.“I got to make ‘High Fidelity’ and ‘Grosse Pointe Blank.’ Spike Lee got to make ‘Summer of Sam.’ Wes Anderson got to make ‘Rushmore.’ I had that memory of film and that’s gone.”“Now it’s six for them — with a committee cutting the film who weren’t part of making it – and maybe one for you,” he added.Joan and John Cusack attend a screening for the film “Max” at the Bubble Lounge in Manhattan on Dec. 19, 2002. Camille Kostek Shuts Down Body-Shamers with a Bold Response

Camille Kostek Shuts Down Body-Shamers with a Bold Response

Camille Kostek is tired of keyboard warriors commenting on her appearance from behind a screen. “Me wondering when I’m going to stop opening my phone to losers having conversations about my body,” Kostek, 34, wrote alongside a Thursday, July 23, TikTok video. In the clip, the model shakes her head back and forth and slightly covers her mouth in disappointment. “Go outside and get some sun!!” Kostek told her haters in the comments section. The model wasn’t alone in her annoyance over being publicly ridiculed. Many of Kostek’s followers showed her support and fired back at the body-shamers as well. “You are and have always been a baddie, please don’t let those trolls get to you ♥️,” one social media user replied. Another person noted that Kostek is a “SI Swimsuit covergirl BY THE WAY they can kick rocks ✌,” referring to the model previously landing the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover. A third user replied, “You are literally so hot I don’t understand any different POV.” “You are my BLUE PRINT babe — tell everyone to stfu,” a separate fan wrote. “Girl, you are the type of woman that I want my daughter looking up too. Smart, driven, kind, beautiful!!!” a fifth TikToker added. “Pay no mind to the ones who enjoy tearing down others to make themselves feel better!!” Kostek, who is a former New England Patriots cheerleader, has never been shy about speaking her mind and standing up for herself. In fact, Kostek revealed during a June 2025 episode of the Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour during Kristin Cavallari’s stop in Boston that she didn’t always feel welcome among the NFL WAGs when dating boyfriend Rob Gronkowski. “I felt like I was seen as a lesser than girlfriend because I didn’t have a ring on my finger,” Kostek told Cavallari, who was previously married to retired NFL quarterback Jay Cutler. “But you want to know what’s so interesting about that? The woman that’s coming to mind [who] judged me the most, she’s divorced.” Kostek began dating Gronkowski, 37, in 2015 after meeting when she was a cheerleader for the Patriots and he played tight end for the team. (The couple didn’t go public until after she left the squad, due to rules between cheerleaders and football players.) While Kostek didn’t get the warmest of welcomes from some of the Patriots players’ wives, she said that Tom Brady’s ex-wife Gisele Bündchen was always sweet and friendly. “Honestly, what’s so special about Gisele is when we would cross paths, she would embrace me and talk to me like we’ve known each other forever,” she said during the reality special. “I only have great things to say about her.” Bündchen, 46, who divorced Brady, 48, in 2022 after 13 years of marriage, isn’t the only famous WAGs member that Kostek gets along with. Kostek and Gronkowski were among the A-list guests in attendance at Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s July 3 nuptials at Madison Square Garden. Kostek told People earlier this month that Swift, 36, looked like “a real-life princess” at the wedding.

Katy Perry's Furious Reaction to Trump Using 'Firework' for Military Footage

Katy Perry's Furious Reaction to Trump Using 'Firework' for Military Footage

Katy Perry is slamming President Donald Trump’s administration after the official White House TikTok account featured her hit song “Firework” in a video highlighting ongoing U.S. military strikes in Iran. “I am deeply appalled and angry to see ‘Firework’ used on the @WhiteHouse TikTok account as a backing track for video footage of military strikes,” the singer, 41, wrote via X on Saturday, July 25. “I did not approve this, I was not asked, and I absolutely do not condone it.” She continued, “I wrote this song to be an anthem of hope, healing, and inner strength for people going through their darkest personal moments. To see a message of self-worth and upliftment weaponized to soundtrack destruction and violence is a complete violation of everything my song stands for. My music is for bringing people together, not celebrating warfare.” On Thursday, July 24, the White House shared unclassified footage of U.S. airstrikes on what appeared to be Iran military infrastructure. The video, which showed the missile strikes in black and white, is set to Perry’s song, focusing on her “boom boom” and “even brighter than the moon” lyrics. (Perry sold the rights to her music in 2023 for a reported $225 million.) “Iran has been warned,” the White House captioned the video. When asked to comment on Perry’s claim she was not consulted about the use of her song in the video, a spokesperson for the White House referred Us to a video shared via X featuring Perry cosplaying as an American soldier for a previous music video. https://www.tiktok.com/@whitehouse/video/7665732448562580749?lang=en Trump, 80, and his administration are facing increased scrutiny over the unpopular decision to go to war with Iran — according to a July Washington Post-ISOS poll, 68 percent of Americans say the war in Iran is not worth fighting. Despite the U.S. military’s overwhelming might, Iran has been successful in closing the Strait of Hormuz, a key passageway for various goods, causing gas prices and the cost of other necessary items to skyrocket. To date, Trump has claimed at least 32 times that the war was ending, near an end or over, yet the conflict wages on with no end in sight as his Department of Defense requests an additional $67 billion in supplemental funding. Perry, for her part, is just the latest in a growing list of performers and entertainers to condemn Trump and his White House for using their art without their explicit permission. “Please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense. Fck [f***] ice,” Ariana Grande wrote in direct response to a June, pro-immigration enforcement video shared by the White House featuring her son “Bye.” After a spokesperson for the singer, 33, confirmed to Us it was, in fact, Grande who wrote the comment, the White House removed the audio from the controversial video. Singer Kesha also slammed Trump and the White House for using her song “Blow” in another pro-war TikTok Video prior to the conflict in Iran. “It’s come to my attention that The White House has used one of my sons on TikTok to incite violence and threaten war,” she wrote in March. “Trying to make light of war is disgusting and inhumane. I absolutely do NOT approve of my music being used to promote violence of any kind.” White House director of communications, Steven Cheung, responded to Kesha at the time, claiming performers were simply “falling for this.” “This just gives us more attention and more view counts to our videos because people want to see what they’re bitching about,” Cheung claimed, before using Trump’s signature social media sign-off. “Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Florida Man's Last Words Spark Investigation into Fatal Crash

Florida Man's Last Words Spark Investigation into Fatal Crash

A young father-to-be from Florida regained consciousness after a serious car crash — just long enough to make a statement to the police. He then sadly passed away, leaving investigators to look into the claims that he made against his pregnant girlfriend, per the New York Post. Crash Follows Super Bowl Night Argument on Florida Highway Daniel Waterman, a 22-year-old originally from the Syracuse area in New York, had been riding in the passenger seat while his girlfriend, 24-year-old Leigha Mumby, was behind the wheel. The couple were driving along Interstate 95 in Flagler County, Florida, on Super Bowl Sunday this past February when tensions reportedly erupted into a fight. According to court documents, Waterman later told authorities that the argument turned especially dark when Mumby allegedly said: “I don’t care what happens. You’ll get what you deserve,” moments before allegedly crashing the car into a tree. Both sustained serious injuries in the wreck. Waterman was left in a coma, while Mumby — who was pregnant at the time — also suffered injuries but survived. Her unborn baby made it through the crash and has since been born. Daniel Waterman sadly passed away. Credit: Tiffany Waterman / Facebook Whiteboard Confession Leads to Criminal Charges Waterman’s mother, Heather Waterman, told syracuse.com that her son initially went into a coma after the accident but eventually regained enough consciousness in May to communicate using a whiteboard. It was then, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by People , that he implicated Mumby in the crash. The couple had reportedly started arguing after Mumby discovered she was pregnant and Waterman received a text message from a woman back in New York. Heather Waterman said the message was harmless — just a Super Bowl-related exchange with a friend who supported the Philadelphia Eagles, while her son rooted for the Kansas City Chiefs. Driver Claims She Doesn’t Remember the Crash Court records allege that Mumby began driving erratically after the argument and ultimately slammed the vehicle into a tree. However, Mumby reportedly told investigators that she doesn’t recall what caused the crash. Despite her initial charges of reckless driving causing serious bodily injury and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in July, the legal stakes escalated after Waterman’s condition worsened. Cornell Student's Return After Antisemitic Remarks Sparks Outrage

The disgraced Cornell University student who went viral for declining an interview with an NYC startup because he said he didn’t want to be “working for a Jew,” claims he’s returning the upstate Ivy league campus in the fall.Austin Franco, 19, the rising junior who delivered the message to VrfID’s Jewish co-founders Gabe and Aiden Einhorn via job board site Handshake in June, told conservative nonprofit Accuracy in Media that he hardly got a slap on the wrist from Cornell.“As of now, they said there’s not anything going on on their back end. I think it’s because I didn’t say anything that could be classified as hateful,” Franco unknowingly confided to an “undercover investigator” for the organization, who lured him to a meet-up pretending to be a fellow antisemite. Austin Franco claimed he has hardly been disciplined by Cornell for his antisemitic comments. Linkedin / Austin FrancoHe said that the school reached out to him after the controversy, but no action has been taken against him.A spokesperson for Cornell referred The Post to the school’s previous statement, but declined to comment on Franco’s claim that he is returning to campus.“This incident has been referred to the Cornell Office of Civil Rights for investigation under university policy,” the Cornell spokeswoman said. “Cornell condemns antisemitism and all forms of hatred and discrimination in the strongest possible terms. The university is steadfastly committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for every member of our community.”Cornell’s lackluster response has sparked outrage among Jewish students and leaders.Rabbi Marc Schneier, founding senior rabbi of The Hampton Synagogue and president of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, told The Post this reflects how alarmingly “normalized” antisemitism has become.BREAKING: A Cornell University student who went viral after telling a prospective employer he was “not interested in working for a Jew” met with an undercover Accuracy in Media investigator and revealed even more about his views.During the conversation, Austin Franco discusses… pic.twitter.com/LFxxAPHeip— Accuracy In Media (@AccuracyInMedia) July 22, 2026“Cornell is a place of learning, and yet a student can openly declare that he will not work for a Jew, impose his own private boycott and still sit in its classrooms,” Schneier said. “I refuse to believe that any other form of bigotry, racial or religious, would be treated with such tolerance.”Davian Gekman, a Cornell student graduating in 2027, described Franco as “the worst of the worst.”“Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. If the school administration is unable to do anything, then it is the bodies’ responsibility to do so,” he said. Cornell said the incident is under investigation. Bloomberg via Getty ImagesIn the clip posted Wednesday to X by Accuracy in Media, Franco admitted that his hateful way of declining the interview wasn’t “the smartest thing to say.”“But the reaction was like, overwhelming. Not equal to what I said,” he said.“I mean, I thought I was being nice. Saying this is why I don’t want to work for you.”He also confirmed that he’s raked in about $25,000 in donations from his twisted supporters. Franco, who hails from Virginia, described antisemitism as “very widespread among the younger generation” as he blamed The Chosen People for his employment struggles.“That’s the problem I’m having. I’m going to Cornell. I’m applying for all these jobs. The only thing I’m getting is unpaid internships working for Jews. Yeah, pretty much only Jews actually,” he said.“The company I was working at prior was also run by a Jew. Yeah, that’s why I got fired.”Franco used to work at the kosher station at Cornell’s dining hall, according to students familiar with the situation.Franco wrote on X that he met with Accuracy in Media because they claimed to be a group that wanted to offer him financial support and post-grad job opportunities.“It’s sad that they were being disingenuous,” he whined.Franco did not immediately return a request for comment.
