The Mount Low boy will appear before court on August 14.The 17-year-old was found in bushland off Cape Pallarenda Rd on July 18 at around 6:35am with serious injuries, police said.He was believed to have been assaulted and left near a tree before he was discovered by some joggers and taken to Townsville University Hospital in stable condition.The new alleged offenders add to the original three people who were charged for the crime.A 13-year-old boy from Deeragun and a 14-year-old girl from Kirwan received the same four charges.The boy appeared before court on July 24 while the girl was “dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act,” police said.A 35-year-old Kirwan woman received the same charges plus one count of driving a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.Townsville Child Abuse and Sexual Crime Unit, Officer in Charge Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Miles said only some of the participants were known to the victim.He also said the young boy was allegedly found “with significant injuries requiring surgical intervention to resolve” and that he was in a stable condition, the Townsville Bulletin reports.He also shed light on allegations on the behavior of those involved after the boy was abandoned. Police said that the victim required “surgical intervention” for his injuries. They also described the attack as coordinated. Queensland Police“These individuals were driving erratically around the Townsville area on the Strand, and there was a collision,” he said.“This wasn’t a random attack, this was orchestrated by a cohort of individuals in relation to this young person.”Police said investigations remain ongoing and are urging anyone with information into the incident to come forward and assist with their investigation.

I mean, I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family. But even this last year, you know — things I wasn’t dealing with. I was boozing too much. It’s just become a problem. Dax was usually near the end because he’s been there a while. He’s kind of like an elder statesman. And I really respected it,” he said at the time. “It was really open, honest, was a way to take whatever theme seemed to go in the evening and then put it in the funniest package. And it meant a lot to me, it really did.” Pitt recalled trying “anything anyone threw at me” during that time in his life. “It was a difficult time. So there’s two costs of it. Some places are very expensive — I am going to a place in New York City that specifically designs options for women who don’t have insurance covering it.” She added, “So the grand total personally, for me, all in, is going to be probably between $8,000 and $9,000.” Earlier on Sunday, Ocasio-Cortez made an appearance on ABC’s This Week, telling host Jonathan Karl why she decided to go public — and document the experience for her millions of social media followers — about her decision to freeze her eggs. “I think, um, it’s important for us to normalize these conversations, especially in this political environment,” she said. “This [Donald Trump] administration is denying reproductive care to women across the country, from abortion rights to the ability to carry out a healthy pregnancy. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is revealing a new chapter in her private life as she continues to represent New York City’s 14th congressional district. “Hey everyone, it’s been a minute since I’ve posted to stories, but I think it’s a good time to kind of dive back in again — it’s August recess and I think it’s good for you all to hear a little bit more from me directly,” the congresswoman, 36, said via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, August, 8, adding that she is “having some things happen” in her life that she wants to “share more” with her followers amid her "reflective mood.” “I want to share with you all a decision that is very personal that I have made that has taken me time to consider, weigh and save up for,” she continued, “And it is of a sensitive matter and a personal matter and usually I keep my private life quite private, but I have made the decision to start freezing my eggs.” Ocasio-Cortez, who was 29 when she was sworn into Congress after becoming the youngest woman elected to the House of Representatives in 2018, is currently engaged to her longtime partner Riley Roberts. The congresswoman admitted that her decision to freeze her eggs — one she plans to document for her social media followers — was due, in part, to near-constant speculation she will one-day be a frontrunner for the Democratic nominee for president. “The media will run up and ask a question like, ‘Are you going to run for this? or, ‘Are you going to run for that?’ And it’s almost through this very two-dimensional craven understanding or ambitious understanding of power,” she explained. “When I think a lot of us actually approach these considerations or these decisions through the larger context of our lives as whole human beings and what is happening in our lives as whole human beings.” Ocasio-Cortez — a common target of President Donald Trump and members of the Republican party — also acknowledged that “strangely” there is a “political risk” or potential “political tax” to her candidly sharing her egg-freezing journey. “People don’t go down those rabbit holes and fixate on them for men in terms of their decision the way they do for women,” she added. “And I’m not here to, like, talk about what’s fair or unfair in this context — this is just the world that we live in today, and so I’m aware that just by me choosing to not keep this private there may be a consequence.” She continued, “But you know what, I'm OK with that. This is a choice that I am making to feel more in control of my life and if people want to make assumptions about my decision, let them make those assumptions – I feel empowered to make this choice. I think it’s a very privileged position that I’ve been able to be able to make. And it’s also a result of, I think, changes in technology that have also made it more financially accessible.” The congresswoman went on to reveal that she took her “first shot this morning" and will have to take multiple injections as part of the egg-freezing process on Sunday, August 9, before her scheduled appearance on an ABC morning show. “I’m going to be delivering an interview on national television and it’s in the morning and I have to take my shot because of the timing of it,” she said. “I’m gonna be taking my shots in the green room before my interview. And I want you all to see that because women can do anything, and I think it’s badass that I’m gonna be, you know, giving myself shots in the green room, get my glam on, roll out talk about international events, domestic policy, elections, pop out, live my life, do my thing.” She continued, “If we want community we have to raise our hand and be community for each other, so that’s what we’re going to do.”

Hunter Biden has shared a heartbreaking update about his father, former president Joe Biden's battle with cancer. As previously reported , the 83-year-old was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer last year, which had spread to his bones. On May 18, 2025, Biden's office announced that it had been found during a routine physical examination, with bone metastasis, and he began treatment the same month. In October 2025, he was confirmed to be undergoing radiation and hormone therapies. The former president's spokesperson confirmed on September 4, 2025, that he'd also undergone Mohs surgery to remove skin cancer lesions from his forehead, after previously having a basal-cell carcinoma removed from his chest in 2023. Hunter, 56, shared an update on Friday, telling the BBC that the disease is now "very painful and debilitating" for his father. He explained: "The cancer has spread, metastasized into his bones and further. It’s very painful and it’s very debilitating in many respects." Hunter admitted: "It’s really sad to watch. The only thing that I’d say about my dad, about his health right now, is I wish he would complain more, because it’s not good." Social media users subsequently criticized Padalecki for allegedly supporting Hilton, given the blogger’s past bullying and targeting of various celebrities and their families. Padalecki quietly deleted his message amid the backlash. “To give more detail re: my post wishing someone well. I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA about his past,” the actor tweeted in a follow-up message shared on Sunday. “I had heard of him. Obviously. I had heard that he hadn’t exactly ‘been kind’ to me in the past.
