Lauren Boebert Denies Explosive Allegations in Ethics Complaint
Rep. Lauren Boebert is firing back over a House Ethics Committee complaint alleging that she had sex with three current and former staffers.
“Congresswoman Lauren Boebert rejects these allegations as utterly false and there is no truth to them whatsoever,” a spokesperson for Boebert, 39, told Us on Saturday, September 16. “This is nothing more than a politically motivated stunt designed to manipulate the ethics process, create headlines, smear her, and generate clickbait.”
The Colorado representative’s office spoke out following American Muckrakers’ David Wheeler submitting a sworn statement about her alleged misconduct with three staffers — two female and one male — to the House Committee on Ethics earlier this week, reports The Colorado Times Recorder. The complaint alleges that Boebert previously arranged a $200,000 hush money payment to prevent one staffer from filing their own ethics complaint.
