Amber Uhler's Journey from Trampoline Pit Humiliation to Miss USA Stage

Tonight, Miss Michigan Amber Uhler will stand on stage in Miami, Florida, waiting to hear if her name is called as the winner of the Miss USA pageant.

It’s quite a different look than five years ago, when she weighed 300 pounds and a doctor warned her that she was on her way “to an early grave.”

Following those words of caution — and a humiliating experience at a trampoline park — Uhler, 41, decided to lose the weight for good. And she’s certainly flaunting her success.
