Cyclist's Miraculous Escape from Arizona Flood Tunnel Sparks Awe
A female cyclist miraculously survived being sucked underwater while trying to cross a flooded Arizona bridge — and the woman who jumped in to save her was nearly swept away herself.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Office responded to a water rescue at Sabino Canyon Thursday after the 20-year-old woman attempted to ride her bike across a bridge as raging floodwaters surged through the area.
The rushing water swept the woman and her bike underneath the bridge, according to authorities.
